LEARN MORE: WATCH THE ONLINE TRAILER TRIANGLES unites three great playwrights in one unique production that is simultaneously the third year of Road Less Traveled Productions' monumentally successful Emanuel Fried Retrospective (featuring the WNY premiere of his play Triangle), the world premiere of The Elliptical by Artie Award winner Jon Elston (also named Best Playwright for two years running in Artvoice's Best Of Buffalo poll), and the first time in modernity that August Strindberg's legendary drama The Stronger has been presented in Western New York.  Order Tickets Online TRIANGLES traces the intertwining lives of three people - two women and the man they share (mostly begrudgingly) - through three time periods: the 1890s, the 1950s, and today. Time marches on, as do societal mores, but feelings of lust and of betrayal are eternal. The women are played, in Strindberg's The Stronger and Fried's Triangle, by Buffalo's luminous leading ladies, Lisa Vitrano and Kristen Tripp-Kelley. In a tip of the hat to the already notorious stunt attempted by Phillip Seymour Hoffman and John C. Reilly in their recent Broadway revival of Sam Shepard's TRUE WEST, Ms. Vitrano and Ms. Tripp-Kelley will be SWITCHING ROLES in both plays, each and every night. The evening is linked by an original framing sequence, devised by Jon Elston. TRIANGLES also features an original score composed and performed (live) by musician Alan Kryszak.
